Office as My Second Home

Our office is located at the 42^nd floor of the highest skyscraper in the Philippines. It’s not so beautiful but I can say that it is spacious. The entire 42^nd floor houses our office together with its four departments namely Legal, Medical, Technical Writing Practice and Global Tech. TCP department is located at the northeast wing of the building and it measures almost 130 square metres.    

I belong to the technical writing department and being in a team that is highly competitive, we need to exert pressure on our job. That is the reason why I always feel hungry when I work. They say that we should not pressure ourselves in doing our job but sometimes we couldn’t avoid it. If you are to look at my workstation, you would see the mess that my foods and stuff bring. Well, I treat office as my second home so I’m comfortable eating on my own workstation. Talking about messy workstation or cubicle in the office, I know a contest that is just launched titled “Pimp My Cube”.

Pimp My Cube Contest is a search for the worst cubicle of office. Imagine an office that has messy tables, bad furnitures, old technology, dark, hot, etc. That’s what ‘m talking about. To join this game, you have to upload a video of your cube or office while you explain the details why it is flabbergasting, horrible and terrible. Once your video is uploaded, you invite your friends, family and colleagues to vote for your video. In addition, you can get an incentive, a sweepstakes entry points for registering, voting, commenting and inviting them to register for the contest.

The best thing about joining a contest is winning. Here, you can win a total grand prize of approximately $1200. Your video should be hilarious and witty. The better the story and the funnier the video, the more chances of winning. Hurry up because the contest is only until January 31, 2012 at 12:00 PM.
