My Music Monday presents “Endless Love”

 It’s Music Monday once again and I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here in Metro Manila, the weather is stormy; I just enjoy the stormy day by sipping a cup of steamy hot coffee. Anyway, my song feature for today is “Endless Love”. “Endless Love” is a song written by Lionel Richie and recorded as a duet between Lionel Richie and Diana Ross. 

 This song is one of the most requested love songs on the radio. In this song, the singers declare their “endless love” for one another. Different versions of the song performed by artists such as Luther Vandross, Mariah Carey and Kenny Rogers. Here's the lyrics of the song:

  The song was also featured in the films “Beethoven” and “Happy Gilmore”. Ross and Richie recorded the song for Motown. It was used as the theme for the film “Endless Love” starring Brooke Shields. 

 On an episode of Glee, Matthew Morrison, the Glee Club instructor and Lea Michelle as one of his students performed that song as a duet in class. 

 Furthermore, Billboard Magazine has named it the greatest song duet of all time.

·         Taiwanese singer Teresa Ten gang Hong Kong singer George Lam recorded a cover version of the song

·         Kenny Rogers recorded the song for his album “Vote for Love” in 1996

·         British Glamour model Katie Price and Peter Andre sang the song

·         Lionel Richie and Kelly Rowland sang it in 2007
